MTA Madness

its 5am on the dot in nyc, and I am waiting for the train(my worst nightmare). The nyc mta just raised the cost of train fare AGAIN, not only did they raise the fare but they also cut the bonus u get when purchasing a metrocard. This happened the day after the a train had ppl trapped for a whole night because they were not ready for a blizzard, none of the NY government was anyways. The trains shut down for most of the next day but once they got running on regular schedule that’s when the announcement was mad “new MTA fare hike”. Now if you are a New Yorker like me than u hate the Mta system, so lets get together and make this work, all we need to do is not take the train for one day and im sure if enough of us do it than the government and Mta should know what we are going through. Get your friends and their friends, put it on facebook do what you have to do to get everybody around you involved let’s spread the word… remember “Just one day” and we can change the MTA UNfare hikes...

The UNfare MTA system.

Today is Thursday 455am and I am currently waiting for the l train to get here. Going to work this early in the morning is hell, not because its soo early but because the trains take soo long to get to my stations. They run maybe every 20 to 30 minutes at this time of the day, they also stop in between stations very often due to “train traffic ahead of us” (so they say). So I waited 5 minutes today for the train to come, guess I timed it pretty good. Although I timed it good I will still get to work late because of the numerous amount of stops we make in between stations. While waiting for the train all you get is a bunch of rats the size of cats, there is not a clean MTA station in NYC, (if you can find one please let me know). So I get to 14st union square station okay today, now this is where I wait sometimes for the N train for 45mins from time to time , for instance a train just passed me by but as usual that train is not in service, this happens very often. This station is worse than the last one I was at because they don’t even give us a screen telling us how far the train is, The rats here are 2 times more than the other station. I would usually take the Q train that comes beforfe the N and get off at 42nd st just so I can purchase a newspaper to keep me company. Now believe me you when I tell you I would read the whole newspaper front to back before I get to work , and I’m not the best or fastest reader either, that’s how long I wait for the N train people. This MTA service really sucks so let’s get it together everybody, I mean cmon they keep rasing the fare because they say they need money but former gov patterson and the legislature took $143 million in transit funding and used it for other purposes, because of that now we the riders and payers have to deal with extensive cuts in bus service and train service. Now how is that fair, So once again my people let’s stop the “NYC MTA UNfare HIKE”…..no more hiking!!
